Our six Standard Poodles are our adored family members, so we understand just how important it is to have a well mannered, adaptable and easy going, healthy dog.
Mango, Italia and Henry are ‘the originals’, Stella is the daughter of Italia and Henry, Hunter is the son of Mango and Henry, and Lady Rosa has come to us from Henry’s grandfather’s breeder. We are truly blessed, they are all smashing dogs with the most wonderful temperaments. They live inside our home (not in kennels), along with our three cats. Townedale puppies are born and raised in our home too, showered with love from the very beginning of their precious lives.
In July 2022 we received Kennel Club Assured Breeder status, which means that we have been independently assessed by the Kennel Club and meet the criteria laid out in the Assured Breeder Standard.
Why Poodles?
I grew up with Boxers and always thought that I would have a pack of Boxers as an adult, but when my son was about 5 years old we discovered that he is allergic to short-haired dogs. Life without dogs was unthinkable, so I started researching the best breed for people with allergies. I narrowed it down to two breeds and it was the Standard Poodle’s temperament that won my heart. We spent half a day with a pack of Standards and there was no allergic reaction, so the decision was made and we joined a waiting list for our first Standard Poodle - our beautiful Juicy Mango! Poodles won our hearts and we welcomed Italia to the family in 2019 and Henry in 2021.
